WhychwoodLavender & Herb Farm is a small country business and is located in Ngaruawahia, just north of Hamilton, New Zealand.
We grow and sell - Potted Lavender & Rosemary Plants along with a range of culinary, medicinal & cosmetic Herb Plants, a small selection of Perrenials & vege/herb punnets are also available. Wholesale inquiries welcome
We are not Certified Organic but always apply natural growing practices in our greenhouses and outdoors, and are proud to sell high quality plants that will grow well in your garden with normal cultivation and care.
At times there are baby farm animals to fuss over and feed. Our aviary & poultry runs have an eclectic selection of feathered friends & if you wander quietly to the woodlands, you may just see a fairy or two.
"The French Laundry" our on site retail outlet has a selection of Herbal Crafts, Hand Sanitizers, body lotions, hand & foot creams/sprays,soaps,room freshers etc;pet care/toys Garden Ornaments, and Seasonal Farm Produce, fresh & dried lavender bunches, lavender rubbings and 100% Essential lavender Oil all grown and created on site. An exciting creation for Whychwood is our "Green Dimension" alcohol & chemical Free hand sanitizer, This creation has been lab-tested for antibacterial properties and has shown glowing results; it is now registered under the cosmetic class and available for purchase.
You are more than welcome to come by to our shop, wander the gardens, set up your easel or camera or browse the gift shop or nursery. Lavender flowering time is mid November to harvest in mid January.........the best time to visit.......
School & community Groups welcome by prior arrangement to the gardens - a small charge may apply.
